The meats they cooked were mostly hunted and fished, and the vegetables were all homegrown, so we knew we were eating the best. I am the only boy in the family, so I was taught how to cook by my grandma and my mom. No one can teach you these things in a classroom.So, I have decided to introduce a Cajun cookbook, and I know my children will carry on with the Gueniot Cajun cooking tradition.
