All around the world people love and enjoy eating Greek food. The flavors are endless; there are chicken, beef, turkey, and much more. Gyros are pita bread sandwiches filled with meat, lettuce, tomatoes and the yogurt sauce. They were traditionally made with compressed meat: ground beef or lamb mixed with spices and packed onto a spit that rotates in front of a fire until the meat is cooked. Gyro entrees are served with soups, salads, and different type's of pita or flat breads. We all enjoy fresh toppings that just wakes up the flavor in our food. Greek cucumber yogurt sauce, hummus, and tzatziki sauce, olives with tomatoes, lettuce and topped with some feta cheese these are just a few examples. The recipes in this book can be multiplied to feed a large group of people as well. We love creating different dishes for our family and friends whenever we have an event.
